Customs coordination

Royan Logistic aligns a shipment's customs documents and steps with the transport plan. We work with you and licensed customs brokers so that export, import or transit documents are ready before the cargo reaches customs or the border.

Customs coordination

Most delays in international freight happen not on the road or at sea but at customs and borders, usually because of a missing document, a wrong HS code or a mismatch between the invoice and the transport document. Royan Logistic builds the customs steps into the transport plan from the start so that cargo does not wait at the border.

Iranian customs and our role

Customs procedures in Iran are administered by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), and declarations are lodged by the cargo owner or a licensed customs broker. Our role is coordination: we check the documents with you, pass the required information to the broker and align the customs timeline with loading, transport and delivery.

Export, import and transit

  • Export: preparing the invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any permits or certificates required for the product before loading.
  • Import: coordinating the foreign supplier's documents, HS code, standards and required permits before the cargo arrives.
  • Transit: moving cargo through Iran or the countries on the route under a TIR carnet or transit documents; Iran is a party to the TIR Convention.
  • Free and special economic zones: planning shipments entering or leaving Iran's free zones.

Common documents

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Transport document (CMR, bill of lading, rail consignment note or air waybill)
  • Certificate of origin
  • Depending on the product, health or standards certificates or special permits
  • TIR carnet or transit document for transit movements

Payment and documentation requirements are reviewed for each shipment, and the exact set is confirmed against the product, destination and current regulations. Duties and customs charges depend on the product and regulations and are shown separately in the quote.

For planning, send the product details, HS code if known and the route through our contact page. For routes, see our Iran logistics and road freight pages.
