Warehousing and consolidation

Royan Logistic treats warehousing as part of the transport plan: short-term storage until documents or vehicles are ready, consolidation of cargo from several suppliers and deconsolidation for distribution, coordinated at warehouses that suit the route.

Warehousing and consolidation

In international freight, cargo does not always travel straight from the factory to its destination. Sometimes it has to wait a few days for customs clearance, for a truck or container, or for the rest of the shipment. Royan Logistic does not treat warehousing separately from transport; we place it in the same plan that sets the route and transport mode.

What we coordinate

  • Short-term storage: until documents are ready, customs clearance is completed or the vehicle arrives.
  • Consolidation: combining cargo from several suppliers into one truck or container.
  • Deconsolidation and distribution: unloading a container or truck and sending cargo on to several consignees.
  • Controlled receiving and dispatch: counting, condition records and photos of the cargo.

Where?

Depending on the route, storage is planned near ports such as Bandar Abbas, at dry ports around major cities, or in Iran's free and special economic zones. We choose the location based on the cargo type, storage period and onward route. For temperature-sensitive cargo, temperature-controlled storage is considered.

What we need to know

  • Cargo type, packaging, number and dimensions of pallets
  • Approximate storage period and special conditions (temperature, stacking, dangerous goods)
  • Origin, destination and the next transport mode

Warehousing is usually planned together with groupage, sea freight and customs coordination. Send your cargo details through our contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer warehousing on its own?

We coordinate warehousing as part of a transport plan, for example storage until customs clearance is complete or consolidation before dispatch. We review your needs at the quotation stage.

Can cargo from several suppliers be consolidated?

Yes. Cargo from different suppliers is collected in one warehouse and dispatched in one truck or container, which lowers the transport cost per unit.

What about temperature-sensitive cargo?

For this cargo we coordinate temperature-controlled storage and refrigerated transport in one plan.

Let’s plan your shipment

You know your cargo. We plan the journey.

Share origin and destination, cargo type, dimensions, weight and target date; we will work out the route and transport mode together.
